Steven K. Wilson Chair of Prosthetic Urology
Funds may be earmarked for The Steven K. Wilson Chair of Prosthetic Urology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Established by Dr. Steven Wilson, the chair provides one-of-a-kind opportunities for the study of prosthetic urology, a specialty that improves the quality of life for thousands of patients each year.
The Barbara and Steve Wilson Educational Foundation is proud to honor the life and work of Dr. Michael Spalding. From his influential career in urology to his founding of Equal Chance for Education, Spalding has blazed trails and created impact that will resonate within families and communities for generations. We are seeding a scholarship fund established in Spalding’s name at Nashville’s Belmont University. The Foundation directly supports Equal Chance for Education and other education-focused organizations helping to bring educational opportunities within the reach of students disenfranchised by the existing educational and financial aid system. All alternate organizations are thoroughly vetted and researched to assure programs uphold the values of the Barbara and Steve Wilson Educational Foundation, that the maximum percentage of donated monies reaches intended subjects, and that entities are highly regarded and scored favorably by independent sources.
American Urological Association
Dr. Steven Wilson is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA). In 2023, they established the SK Wilson AUA Humanitarian Award to support urologic health missions in underserved areas across the globe. Funds ermarked for the AUA Humanitarian Award help support AUA physicians volunteering for humanitarian outreach in medically underserved areas.
